I am a shoe goddess with close to 200 pairs of pumps. I LOVE the amount of storage and the mobility of the unit. Some braeks or wheel locks would be nice but I only use it on carpeted surfaces so that is no issue.
The ONLY thing wrong is that the spaces between the rows are too small (narrow). I wear 4 and 5-in heels and the bottoms of the heel bases scrape the inside of the shoes on the row below. Increasing the spacing would make the rack higher but it is sturdy enough to elevate a foot or so. One other issue is that when my unit arrived, one of the 'springy pegs" on the side had 'slipped' down into the aluminum sidebar and I could not retreive it. So one side is securely connected and one side is not. Maybe make the metal pegs a bit bigger (?) Otherwise I LOVE it. IT REALLY SAVES SPACE!!

I was surprised because the item looked very much like the picture. The instructions to assemble, what little there is to assemble, were just a short page. Very easy to put together, done in about 35-40 minutes at the most - but you do need a Phillips screwdriver to assemble the rods.(Easy)
So when it was all done, here came the acid test: will it really hold 50 pairs of shoes? It does (all high heels) ! Chance of collapsing? No, as long as you don't drag it across heavy carpeting and are careful in moving it. Once put where it belongs, it's pretty steady. I am so glad I have all my shoes together that I am ordering another rack for the summer shoes.
